Born and raised in France, Sophie lived for more than a decade in Canada, where she was an adult educator and photographer. Her award-winning photography has been displayed in solo and group exhibitions, published in various Canadian magazines and used for promotional material and calendars.

Since her move to Paris, capital of her native country, Sophie has combined her skills and experiences to offer instructional photography workshops and tours. The tours, available to individuals and groups, provide a unique opportunity to discover the city of light from a different perspective.

Until September 2009, Sophie maintained a photoblog on which she shared some less edited images for comment. The blog is now discontinued, but the archive is available at photoblog.sophiepasquet.com.
